What to see: Chapel of San Cosme, Church of Verís, place of Xelas in the Mandeo river.Festivals: San Lourenzo on 10th and 11th of August; San Simón on 6th of August; San Cosme on 27th of September; los Milagros de Nuestra Señora on 8th to 12th of September; the pilgrimage of San Cosme and of San Antón in September.

: These lands have been inhabited for
thousands of years, as it is shown by many remains found in the
parishes of Mántaras and Ambroa, where tumuli and hill forts were
found. Archaeologic remains of the parish church can also be watched in
Churio, as a Suevian altar stone is preserved inlaid in the exterior
wall. The Romanesque chapels of Cela and San Cosme as well as the
church of Verís can be visited in Mántaras. There, it is also advisable
climbing the Mountain of San Antón, where there is a recreational area
and a walk along the place of Xelas, in the Mandeo river.
