Bridge of Aranga

This bridge is located in San Paio de Aranga. It has baroque style and it was built in the XVII century. It consists of four uneven arches made of granite masonry.

History: The bridge was enlarged in the forties, disappearing the masonry banisters that were replaced by metal banisters. Its ashlar masonry inclination was levelled using filler, so its image became more distorted. Despite the current bridge dates from the XVII century, its origin is from the Middle Ages or even from the Roman Age.

Use: It represents one of the fundamental axes in the municipality communications.
