Predominantly baroque church of rural style, which is located in a place with the very same name, in Aranga.

It has underwent several alterations in the course of its history, being its rising remarkable. Its walls are made of granite masonry, althoug the right side wall has been graveled.

Decoration: It is very sober. And the scarce ornamentation is concentrated in tha main facade; which has a door decorated with a frieze with coffers, a rose window, and a small belfry crowned by a croos between two pinnacles. The sun cross stands out here. Light comes in through the rose window, three side windows, and the back loophole window.

Surroundings: In the area around the church, there is a granite calvary sculpture or cuceiro which dates from the the end of the XV century or the beginning of the XVI c. It has a quadrangular base with three steps which support a parallelepiped pedestal that places a square-section strut with bevels topped by a quadrangular collar and a square capital. A cross with button-ends in its arms is on this structure. It has Christ crucified on the front, and the Virgin sitting with the child on the back.
