Church of San Pedro de Feás

Predominantly baroque church of rural style, which is located in a place with the very same name, in Aranga. The baroque square stone belfry stands out on the main facade.

Description: It has a rectangular floor plan and only one nave, rectangular apse, and a vestry behind the altar. The walls are all made of graveled granite stone but the main facade, corners, and hollows of the openings; which are made of uncovered stone. It has two entrances: one in the main facade, and the other in the side wall.

Surroundings: Near the church, there is a granite calvary sculpture or cruceiro, with 2-stair cuadrangular base and a seat, on which a pedestal of two pieces is placed. Thus, the pedestral includes a parallelepiped block and a molded block, being this one the lastest support of a beveled square-section strut that is topped by a quadrangular collar. Volutes and angles decorate the capital. It culminates in a woody cross with knots; having Christ crucified on the front, and an Immaculate Virgin on a pedestal supported by three angels heads on the back.
