Aim: Redevelop the Pazo (old Galician manor house) as a control centre of the stations that will analyse the quality of the waters.
Actions: Provide the Pazo de Mariñán with the necessary tools: data screens, information signs, etc. in order to centralise, in real time, the data obtained from the river control points. These control points, dependent on the centre, will be located in the Mandeo and Mendo rivers.Synergies: Pazo de Mariñán is part of the flower tourist route Ruta de las Camelias (Camellias Route), a great attraction for a sector of international tourism. This will facilitate the diffusion of the routes of the Mandeo River basin beyond our borders.
Origins: Pazo de Mariñán is also known as Quinta de Bergondo or Casa de Láncara. It belonged to an uninterrupted line of families from the old Galician nobility, stretching back to the Middle Ages. Family names such as Pimentel, Oca, Ulloa or Traba have been part of the Pazo%u2019s history at some point. Nowadays it belongs to A Coruña Regional Council, which allows access to and enjoyment of one of the best pazos in Galicia.
