The archaeologic heritage of the Mandeo preserves many celtic fortifications, tumuli, and petroglyphs; whose remains show this area ancient settlers life. Their villages were built around celtic fortifications; their deads were buried under tumuli, in rises which hid the tombs; and their thinking remains on several petroglyphs forever.

The study "Mandeo Project: Zero state. Current outlook of the basin", carried out by the A Coruña Provincial Council, offers a wide variety of signs of these goods, although many of them are hard to locate due to their state of conservation. Nevertheless, there is a very special small group that should be in the agenda of any trip to the Mandeo. This is its description:
